What you will be doing:
- Identify and target potential customers through research, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Conduct outbound sales calls and emails to prospective clients to introduce transportation services and solutions.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to assess their needs, address any concerns, and identify additional sales opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential and existing customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to close sales deals.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on market and customer analysis.
- Work closely with other departments, such as operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to develop and execute sales campaigns and promotional activities.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies and goals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Ensure all sales documentation, including contracts and proposals, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Experience you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in inside sales, particularly within the transportation or logistics industry, is highly desirable.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales-related technology.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
