What you will be doing:

  • Identify and target potential customers through research, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and emails to prospective clients to introduce transportation services and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to assess their needs, address any concerns, and identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to close sales deals.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on market and customer analysis.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to develop and execute sales campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies and goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Ensure all sales documentation, including contracts and proposals, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Experience you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in inside sales, particularly within the transportation or logistics industry, is highly desirable.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales-related technology.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
