Position Summary:
Our client is seeking to continue their impressive growth trajectory through the evolution and expansion of its world-class product portfolio in markets within our footprint. To improve its ability to deliver results, the company is looking for expert technical leaders to drive revenue targets within the cloud portfolio of products. The Cloud Solution Specialist (CSS) is a strategic technical consultant familiar with all technical aspects and application considerations for our Cloud Services.
The CSS is a sales overlay position with the primary objective of driving revenue around our complex services (Cloud/Security). The CSS is a consummate team player who evangelizes product capabilities internally, with the customer base, and with prospective customers. They are an integral part the sales organizations and are responsible for ensuring the sales teams are knowledgeable about the Cloud products and understand how to discuss them in each step of the pre-sales and sales process.
The CSS will partner with sales teams in markets across the Segra footprint and will be required to travel to those markets.  This individual will have a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and will assist sales in positioning us to win.  To achieve these objectives, Cloud Solution Specialists have two primary responsibilities: 1) Sales enablement and 2) Training.
What you will be doing:
  • Act as the technical and functional expert for the Cloud portfolio, able to fully understand and communicate the value proposition to customer through demonstrations, webinars, and technical discovery sessions.
  • Engage with Regional Sales Directors to drive market strategies, identify key target customers and execute plan to position Segra to win.
  • Assist throughout the selling process by identifying potential opportunities in the markets, attending appointments, creating technical presentations and closing opportunities.
  • Responsible for meeting/exceeding Cloud revenue targets (quota) for assigned markets as a sales overlay.
  • Coordinate with Business Development and Marketing teams to enable campaigns around Cloud Services.
  • Post implementation support related to relationship building, customer's technical strategy and additional revenue opportunities.
  • Attend relevant market, industry, or technology organizations / associations, marketing events, and trade shows to assist in communicating product capabilities and build demand for Cloud.
  • Coordinate with Sales Engineering to ensure successful implementation of services.
  • Provide ongoing training to the sales organization to elevate product knowledge and evangelize the Cloud market strategy.
  • Cloud market strategy.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship with the purposes of teaching sales how to do effective discovery and product positioning.
  • Train sales and sales engineers on product-related sales requirements, including communicating the product’s value proposition, how to demo the product, how to incorporate the product into solution designs, and how to provide technical support for the products.
    What you will need:
  • 7+ years of Technical Sales or Sales Engineering in Cloud, Security, and/or IT.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Expertise in IaaS, DRaaS, BaaS and Datacenter Services.
  • Expertise in Information and Cyber Security best practices
  • Experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Windows Server 2012
Compensation $115,000 plus great benes
