BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.
 
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire, with the ability to upgrade to Top Secret. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Client is seeking a senior business development and program management professional to lead strategy development, execution, and customer facing interactions within our Strategic Systems (US Air Force) portfolio. 
Our Account Manager will lead a team of programmatic and technical experts in capturing and growing our already significant scope in the Air Force strategic systems domain. You will use your expertise and understanding of the Air Force strategic community, mission operations, strategic weapons systems, and the contractor industrial base to define business strategies, the competitive landscape, and the investment needed to win and execute opportunities in 2020 and beyond. In addition, the Account Manager will work across the business leads who execute the strategic portfolio (VP and Directors) to coordinate strategy and long-range planning.
The Air Force account manager has budget authority and oversight over proposal efforts, execution of specific BD captures, and the alignment of company R&D funds to support those captures. 
We expect to maintain and expand our positions in this account by leveraging strong GDMS Strategic Mission Systems core competencies in strategic weapons systems and associated electronics, and by bringing critical new technology solutions to the Air Force.
