What you will be doing:
- Manage the agency’s larger client base and key client accounts.
- Conduct thorough account reviews at renewal and upon notice of operational changes.
- Provide ongoing and annual coverage gap analysis.
- Document coverage recommendations.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
- Assist and mentor a team of 2 commercial account managers and 4 commercial assistants.
Experience you will need:
- 7-10 years of direct client commercial insurance service experience in an agency, with a carrier, or MGA.
- Experience in both middle market and small commercial, across all lines of business.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial coverages and all lines of business.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively for self and others.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strength in mentoring others in the position.
- Valid Minnesota Insurance license (or ability to acquire if currently at a carrier or MGA).
