What you will be doing:
- Maintain and strengthen current customer relationships
- Develop and implement a business plan for assigned territory to increase market share and achieve quarterly/yearly revenue growth targets
- Arrange business meetings with prospective customers
- Forecast and track territory performance
- Collaborate with internal departments to achieve growth targets
- Provide trustworthy after-sales support internally and with customers
Experience you will need:
- Located in Chicago, IL or surrounding area
- 3 - 5 years experience in Environmental, Chemical, or related technical sales
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, or a similar field
- Strong working knowledge of industrial accounts
- Comprehensive knowledge of company services and their application to customer requirements and competitive markets
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations preferred
- Certifications a plus (CHMM, CEP, CSP, etc.)
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Proficient in CRM applications
