The Talent Acquisition Consultant is a senior level role responsible for recruiting for all level jobs, primarily focused on mid to senior level requisitions focusing within the IT sector. This position works with senior leadership within the company to identify future staffing needs, anticipate recruitment trends, and create pipelining strategies. The Talent Acquisition Consultant specializes in recruiting talent in niche areas with advanced market knowledge and sourcing abilities. This position will be the primary point of contact for candidate questions and seamlessly ensure a positive experience throughout all aspects of the candidate recruitment lifestyle. The Talent Acquisition Consultant will manage large Talent Acquisition program roll-outs and consistently evaluate the effectiveness of processes, making recommendations for future initiatives.
 
What You'll Do
  • Talent Acquisition
    • Recruits across multiple businesses throughout the company.
    • Establishes and maintains relationships with senior management, hiring managers, and HR partners across the company to understand intricate business needs to effectively source and facilitate the selection of quality candidates.
    • Develops and implements effective and comprehensive sourcing strategies for assigned requisitions.
    • Identifies passive, senior level talent through non-traditional methods including social networking, AIRS techniques (Boolean, flipping, peeling, x-raying), cold calling and external networking.
    • Interviews candidates using advanced behavioral techniques to determine most qualified candidate
    • Manages interview and selection process to ensure superior candidate experience while providing strategic advice and counsel to senior executives.
    • Assesses candidate's probability of offer acceptance; identify other competing opportunities, conduct a complete review of the current compensation package to include incentives and negotiate final offer.
    • Researches & evaluates new sourcing ideas and methods as well as test and promote suitable new technology that adds value to hiring talent.
    • Creates comprehensive sourcing strategies in accordance with established Affirmative Action Plans.

    • Project Management
      • Manages assigned Talent Acquisition program(s) to include pilot programs and enterprise-wide rollouts.
      • Works with all SLM locations in determining local best practices and optimal solution(s) for all pilots and program introductions or enhancements.
      • Evaluates effectiveness of current practices, programs, or vendors and conducts due diligence on alternatives; makes recommendation for future and implements new program/processes as appropriate.
      • Develops and implements TA key initiatives, as assigned.
    • Compliance and Controls
      • Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures, paying close attention to Talent Acquisition specific desktop procedures.
      • Ensures that recruiting and hiring practices are compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws as well as OFCCP/EEOC guidelines.
      • Implements new desktop procedures and updates current procedures pertaining to Talent Acquisition.
      • Identifies opportunities to add additional controls as appropriate.
    • Reporting
      • Utilizes advanced reporting metrics for personal and team performance tracking as well as to establish actions plans and strategies.
      • Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required.
      • Provides analysis of data and recommends appropriate course corrections.
What You Have:
  • 5+ progressive experience in Talent Acquisition with experience in placing executive and specialized positions, preferably working in a financial services or IT environment
  • 3+ years project management experience.
  • Experience recruiting specialized and management levels roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of employment law and compliance standards (EEO, OFCCP, Affirmative Action).
  • Technology power user of LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable Application Tracking Systems.
  • Advanced sourcing experience including social networking, Boolean, and external networking.
  • Ability to effectively oversee and coordinate the regular update of required process and procedure documentation.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively articulate complex issues to all audience levels.
  • Ability to travel 25%.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other related fields, or equivalent work experience.
