Account Executive, North America
Cybersecurity | Autonomous Exposure Remediation | Series A
Remote (U.S.) · East Coast preferred · ~25% travel
The cybersecurity industry got very good at finding problems.
Almost no one got good at closing them.
Attackers break out in seconds. Enterprises still take weeks to remediate a critical exposure. That gap is the breach.
We are building the AI Security Engineer — not another dashboard, not a copilot, not a ticket factory. The platform discovers exposures across 40+ tools customers already own, plans the fix, simulates business impact before anything ships, executes in production, and rolls back automatically if anything looks wrong.
Gartner named the company a pioneer in the shift from reactive detection to preemptive, autonomous remediation. Series A cybersecurity. High technical-win rate. A large volume of automated remediations. Zero production-impacting incidents.
This is not a feature sale. It is a trust sale — proof that software can actually fix the environment without breaking the business.
The role
Foundational GTM seat. You report to the VP of Sales and work across the full executive suite.
You own North America end-to-end:
- Territory and named-account strategy with Sales + Marketing
- Outbound, discovery, POV, technical win
- Partner co-sell (VAR / MSSP / ecosystem)
- Commercial close and contract
- Stage presence at industry and partner events
If you need a mature demand engine, an SDR army, or a household brand to hide behind — this is not your seat.
If you want to create a category in the wild and put numbers on the board while doing it — keep reading.
What you sell
Category: Preemptive exposure management / autonomous exposure remediation
Buyers: CISO, CIO, VP/Director of Security Engineering, SecOps, IT Ops
Most orgs will not let AI touch production without proof. Your job is to walk a buyer up a trust ladder — consultative, evidence-first, CFO-grade math. Status quo in their numbers: hours burned, headcount trapped in tickets, wasted tool spend, open risk. Then show what changes when the last mile actually closes.
Who thrives here
- 5+ years quota-carrying, full-cycle cybersecurity SaaS to CISOs / VPs of Security / IT executives
- Proven ~$1M+ number, six-figure ACVs, multi-month cycles
- You run POVs as a commercial motion — you don’t throw it over the wall to an SE and wait
- You have sold a category with no existing budget line and can tell the story of how the budget got created
- You can defend the arithmetic to a CFO
- You’ve been one of the first sellers somewhere and can name what you built
- Discovery + value-based selling fluency; HubSpot (or equivalent) is home
- U.S.-based, East Coast preferred, ~25% travel
Strong signals
- Sold into (or alongside) the Microsoft security stack, EDR, or vuln-management incumbents
- Channel / partner-led motion: VAR, MSSP, deal registration, early-stage cybersecurity in the NA ecosystem
- Domain adjacency: EDR, SIEM/SOAR, VM, exposure management, CTEM, control assessment
- You’ve written (or co-authored) a business case a customer actually used internally — and you can show it
This is a builder’s number in a cybersecurity market that just became real.
Come close exposures. Come invent the motion. Come sell the thing security teams have been waiting for someone to actually do.
