Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of demonstrated success in driving sales within the cybersecurity industry, particularly in selling MDR solutions. The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for leading our sales efforts, developing strategic relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the team's success.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the MDR market segment. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and increase market share.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert advice and solutions to address their cybersecurity challenges.
Solution Selling: Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand clients' pain points and tailor MDR solutions to meet their specific requirements. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our services and differentiate us from competitors.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to MDR services. Use market insights to refine sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to align sales efforts with company objectives. Provide feedback and insights to inform product roadmap and marketing campaigns.
Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and prepare regular reports for senior management. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
5-7 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in selling cybersecurity solutions, preferably MDR services.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies, particularly in threat detection and incident response.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
Experience working with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools.
Established network of contacts within the cybersecurity industry.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $96,000 - $144,000 to make double at plan $192000 to $288000
Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) such as role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, geography, and experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offerings, and equity awards.
