What you will be doing:

  • Provide support and coaching to employees at all levels (management to non-management) on HR practices and processes, utilizing conflict resolution techniques to ensure team cohesion.
  • Ensure legal compliance with HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, updating policies and/or procedures as required.
  • Support the recruitment process and prepare paperwork and schedules for smooth new-hire onboarding, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance including EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and WPFML.
  • Facilitate the scheduled performance review process, providing guidance, tools, and training for managers and employees.
  • Maintain up-to-date personnel information and files.
  • Escalate personnel-related issues as necessary.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims.
  • Process bi-monthly payroll via a third-party payroll service.
  • Participate in the Company Safety Committee.

Experience you will need:

  • Bilingual - English & Spanish required.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Training and development skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft and Excel.
  • Proficient in HR software and technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required, OR 5-8 years of progressive HR experience.
  • SHRM-CP required.
