Providing medical and clinical oversight to our outpatient behavioral health clinics and a diverse range of behavioral health services.
Responsible for providing supervision, support, training, and quality oversight of assigned programs.
Reviewing health care law and regulations applicable to mental health and substance use.
Directing and supervising the work of the clinical and medical team including physicians, advanced practice nurses, and registered nurses.
Formulating division and agency specific policies and procedures.
Promoting use of evidence-based practices by medical staff and ensure medical services meet regulatory standards.
Enhancing relationships with vendors and liaising with medical and non-medical departments.
Applying clinical and administrative skills to guide programs in providing high-level care.
Participating in Risk Review Meetings and Adverse Event Reviews.
Reviewing medical data to identify areas for improvement and participating in the development of clinical programs.
Providing direct services to children and adults.
Supporting and implementing agency strategic initiatives including the expansion of medication-assisted treatment.
Experience you will need:
Must hold a MD/DO degree and be board certified or board eligible in psychiatry.
At least five years of professional experience in the mental health or human services fields is required, with at least three years at a supervisory level.
Candidate must have an active medical license to practice in state of MA, and valid driver's license.
