Position Summary:
Our client is in search of an outside sales producer in the Pacific Northwest for our aviation supply and services company. With an extremely stable and consistent history, we have served the industry for 50 years.

Candidate must be based in OR or WA state.
As a member of the outside sales team, you’ll have support from knowledgeable colleagues, learn new skills, expand your knowledge base, travel to meet interesting people and have a bunch of fun along the way. It is important to us that we explore together the areas of sales where a candidate will be most successful in our sales organization, and learn what is important to you as you contemplate a career change.
What you will be doing:
  • Acquiring new accounts and managing existing accounts
  • Identifying and developing new fuel business opportunities
  • Opening additional channels of trade
  • Obtaining order commitments
  • Developing sales targets and forecasts
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales goals
  • Coordinating activities, opportunities and cross-selling with other sales departments
  • Developing knowledge of individual airport markets and influencers
  • Building a working knowledge of competitor products and services, customer segments and trends affecting the industry 
What you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered
  • Aviation experience preferred, but not required
  • Prior outside sales experience is a plus; candidates with strong sales potential and a willingness to be mentored may be considered
  • Experience in prospecting, sales and closing new business
  • Ability to perform calls to generate leads
  • Ability to perform analysis to qualify opportunities
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills
  • Territory travel is required: Expect to travel three days per week every other week
  • Must be able to drive and fly without restrictions
