Position Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced and proven professional to join our Business Development and Strategy team. The ideal candidate for this role is creative, organized, able to multitask, with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. We are looking for someone who can be a critical and innovative thinker, with a strong strategic mindset. The person will be responsible for cultivating and sustaining key customer relationships that result in attractive business opportunities that fit capabilities and business model.
What you will be doing:
  • The person will oversee government and commercial business development and support the proposal development process and will have strong business, technical and industry acumen, and an established record of business development success in the space systems markets.
  • Using established related industry connections: identify, develop, and close new satellite business.
  • Build new relationships across the national, commercial, and international customer base.
  • Become familiar with existing sales opportunities and take on the lead role to propose and win new business.
  • Identify new, emerging opportunities for products and that fit our business model.
    What you will need:
  • Background in Aerospace, 8+ years
  • Proven BD skills in government and commercial markets.
  • Good relationship management skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workloads.
  • Excellent presentation and customer-facing skills.
  • Robust; able to cope under pressure.
  • Driven to achieve and deliver consistent high-quality results.
