As a Director Product Marketing Manager, you will own the distribution product lines, which are at the heart of our product strategy. Our product team is small, so you will have an impact on more than just your area of ownership. This role will work closely with product, engineering, and business to define, grow and iterate the product marketing strategy. You will embody the voice of the customer and will develop data-driven insights to optimise and develop new functionality / products.
Responsibilities
  • Own and manage all aspects of distribution. Our Client software is distributed through integrations with point of sale systems, loan origination systems, and our own hosted landing pages.
  • Define and iterate on the user funnels for each distribution channel, working with UX designers to drive adoption and broaden each segment of the funnel.
  • Identify the key user persons for each distribution channel and ensure those channels speak to the users needs.
  • Develop marketing strategies, design concepts, and copy for our applications and landing pages.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our business, the competitive environment, our customer's key product metrics and regulatory requirements to drive the right set of features.
  • Work with cross functional stakeholders to translate business needs into a product strategy, drive consensus, and track success metrics.
  • Monitor and understand the key metrics governing your product area, with an eye toward continuously improving them through ongoing product iteration.
  • Work with agile engineering teams and executive team to analyze data and conduct experiments (A/B tests) in order to optimize the product in pursuit of an improved customer experience and business metrics.
  • Establish product delivery timelines in close collaboration with development teams.
  • Design processes, workflows and functional components to improve efficiencies.
  • Be a leader within the group.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 6-8 years of experience in product marketing management. Preference for product innovation and customer development experiences.
  • Deep understanding of user funnels and how to optimize them
  • Experience developing new products from scratch leveraging customer development methodologies and bringing them to market
  • Experience with marketing, writing copy, and working with designers to create products that speak to the customer.
  • Ability to own external relationships with partners.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and aggressive attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to work with remote development teams to execute agile software development.
  • Rapidly adaptable to changes in fast paced startup environment.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from key stakeholders across departments.
  • You are incredibly sharp, confident, thoughtful and know how to get things done.
  • You have a track record of success and can articulate it effectively.
  • Understanding of the enterprise software development, implementation, sales and deployment cycles
