Inside Sales, Electronic Test and Measurement Equipment, Bedford

Location: Boston, MA
Our client has new opening for our Bedford, MA office. you would report into the office everyday (Monday through Friday 8am-5pm). 
  • Strongly prefer experience Electronic and or Test and Measurement equipment experience and be knowledgeable about the industry
  • Reseller experience is a huge plus
 
 Compensation: Base: 50-60K DOE There is the opportunity to maybe make an additional 20-30k in commissions depending on performance, sales/metrics etc
Benefits: Full Medical and Dental, Tuition Reimbursement After 90 days of service they will reimburse 100% tuition for job-related courses to a maximum of $4,200.00 per calendar year and $200.00 coverage for books.
 
Client: My client is a U.S. and international test equipment sales and rentals company. They offer refurbished test equipment and rentals including oscilloscopes, signal generators, network and spectrum analyzers, wireless communications testers, field testing and general purpose test equipment. Their clients are engineers in manufacturing, R&D, QC, design, field test, or education.

They have 8 locations nationwide and are going international, have 375 employees, privately held family company, 400 Million in sales in 2013, strong cash backing, and very stable. I placed their top sales representative back in 1995 and he is still there as well as the manager who hired him.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Serve as the point of contact to purchase and sell equipment to our broker/dealer network, in conjunction with maximizing our inventory mix
  • Source and acquire Test & Measurement products to be re-sold to our broker/dealer network  
  • Sell acquired inventory, within gross margin guidelines
  • Principally sell to all established broker/dealer accounts
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales quotas
  • Assist other team members with transactions when necessary
  • Create and process sales orders in a timely fashion
  • Expedite requests for rush orders and alter sales orders and shipping data as needed
  • At the request of the VP, Sales work on other projects as required
Qualifications or Equivalent:
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience 
  • 2 years' reseller sales level experience preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of Electronic Test and Measurement equipment and the industry
  • Good communications skills and attention to detail required
  • Good customer service skills
  • SAP, Office, CRM and on the job training as required
  • Good closing skills required
